Project Overview

The Ministry of Municipality is a State of Qatar government body. The image record on this project — references to Qatar National Day among the file names — points to a stand built for Darb Al Saai, Qatar's national annual celebration in Umm Salal, where dozens of government ministries and entities take pavilions each December to present their work to the public over an eleven-day run drawing very large family crowds.

That context shapes the brief differently from a trade exhibition. The audience isn't professionals evaluating a supplier — it's citizens and residents, largely families, encountering a government body's work in a festival setting rather than a briefing room.
