Paris Nails is a beauty spa and nail salon inside Landmark Mall in Doha, offering nail services alongside facials, body treatments, massage and hair. The name sets an expectation — Paris signals a particular kind of polish — and the identity had to deliver on it without becoming a cliché of the Eiffel Tower and a script font.
Mall retail changes what a logo has to do. Most customers aren't arriving because they researched the salon; they're walking past on the way somewhere else. The brand gets a few seconds of peripheral attention to communicate what the business is and what standard it operates at, from across a busy concourse.
We handled art direction and the visual identity, designing for that glance. The mark was built to stay legible and distinct at signage distance, with a palette that reads as refined rather than loud, so the salon looks like the considered option among neighbours competing on colour and noise.
The system extends to where a salon brand actually lives day to day — price lists, appointment cards, treatment menus, product displays and social posts — with rules that let staff apply it consistently without a designer.
