Project Overview

Market App was a Qatar-based startup with a straightforward goal: make the weekly grocery shop something you could finish in a few minutes on a phone instead of an hour in a car park. At the time, the local options were thin — limited product ranges and unreliable delivery windows — so the bar wasn't just building an app, it was building one people would trust with a full week's shop.

We handled art direction, app design and prototyping. The interface was designed around speed of repetition, because grocery shopping is a habit rather than a one-off purchase: browsing had to stay fast across a wide catalogue, pricing had to be visible without extra taps, and re-ordering familiar items couldn't feel like starting from scratch.
