To give a Personalized & Human Touch to the construction business branding, we used strategic designing elements like Geometric Patterns (also popularly used in Islamic Art), Fonts & Colors across the designs.
Gernas is a trading and construction company in Qatar, operating in one of the most crowded sectors in the country — Doha alone lists thousands of construction firms. In a market that size, most companies look interchangeable: the same hard-hat photography, the same blues and greys, the same claims about quality and safety. Standing out isn't a vanity exercise, it's how a contractor gets shortlisted.
The brief was to build a brand that carried reputation and made the company's services legible to the people choosing contractors.
We took the identity somewhere the category rarely goes. Rather than reaching for generic industrial visual language, we built the system around geometric pattern work rooted in Islamic art — a tradition of precision, structure and repeating geometry that has an obvious kinship with building, and an obvious relevance to a Qatari company.
That pattern work runs through the identity alongside a defined type and colour system, applied consistently across applications. The effect is a construction brand that reads as considered and local rather than anonymous and imported — a human touch in a category that usually settles for a hard hat and a stock photo.
Tell us what you’re building. We’ll come back with a scope and a price.
