Our Concept & Design Approach: Working on the design from scratch, we focused on creating beautiful as well as eye-catching designs. The idea was to use Personalisation techniques portrayed the Brownie’s texture, colour, smell & taste.
Brownie Loco was a dessert shop in Doha built around a single product done well. That focus is a gift to a designer and also a constraint: with no broad menu to hide behind, the identity has to carry the entire appetite appeal on its own.
We worked from scratch, designing the brand around the brownie itself rather than around generic bakery cues. The brief we set ourselves was to make the identity communicate the product's four sensory qualities — texture, colour, smell and taste — before anyone reads a word.
The mark sets the brand name in a circular form that echoes the density and texture of a brownie, with a drizzle of chocolate syrup falling from the base. That drip does the heavy lifting: it turns a static logo into something that suggests the moment just before you eat, which is the feeling a dessert brand actually needs to sell.
The identity carried through into packaging and applications, where appetite appeal matters most — the box on the counter and the bag someone carries out are, for a dessert shop, the most-seen pieces of the brand.
Tell us what you’re building. We’ll come back with a scope and a price.
