Bin Muftah Medical Centre is a multi-specialty medical centre in Hazm Al Markhiya, Doha, offering family medicine, general surgery, orthopedics, pediatrics, dermatology, urology, dental care, aesthetics, dietetics and physiotherapy, alongside an in-house pharmacy, laboratory and home care service. Its positioning is preventive healthcare made affordable and accessible.
That positioning set the design problem. Affordable healthcare branding fails in one of two directions: it either looks cheap, which undermines clinical trust, or it over-corrects into cold, corporate sterility. Neither works for a centre whose patients are often families, and often anxious.
We handled art direction and the brand identity. The mark was designed to read as professional and reassuring rather than clinical, with a palette calm enough for a waiting room and legible enough for signage. Because the centre spans a wide range of specialties, the system had to hold together across departments — one identity covering pediatrics and orthopedics without either feeling out of place.
The identity was built out into the assets a working medical centre actually needs: signage, print, patient-facing materials and everyday applications, with rules that let the team apply the brand consistently as services expand.
Tell us what you’re building. We’ll come back with a scope and a price.
