Project Overview
Best Deal Qatar sells fashion and electronics online to the Qatari market, competing on price in a category where price-led brands very easily start to look untrustworthy. That was the design problem: discount positioning has to read as good value, not as low quality, because shoppers spending real money on electronics need to believe the store is legitimate before they believe the price.
We handled art direction and the brand identity. The mark was developed to be legible at the sizes a retail brand actually lives at — a favicon, an app icon, a social avatar, a delivery label — rather than only looking good large. Around it we defined the palette, typography and usage rules that let the brand stay consistent across a product catalogue that changes constantly.
